journey to the dumps
I have a tattoo that says "don't despise the journey"
It reminds me of Isaiah 40:6-8 (below) because this life
is so fleeting, it is just a journey to what is unseen, what is eternal, what truly matters. so on this brief journey i have
i want to spend it looking into the eyes of the needy and being with them through their struggles on their temporary journeys. I want to see the Kingdom of HEAVEN completely demolish injustice, sickness, poverty, and bring wholeness and joy. I want to pray with lepers and tell them about the God who became a man forever and gave His life because of how much He loves them, and how valuable they are to Him, how irreplaceable, how lovely. I want to hold orphans so they feel the love of their Father and know they are never alone on this journey.
All this to say, I need help to get to the dumps! I am in college, taking out loans to pay for school living on a couple hundred dollars a month. Whatever you can give will be beyond a blessing to me. This website makes it SO EASY and it is secure. You can even just donate ONE DOLLAR!!!! These dollars add up people! Please remember the poor in the earth and care for them wherever you live at, and pray for the beautiful people in the garbage dumps as well.
